Sorry that is has been a few days from my last post. Internet has been hit and miss, so it is difficult to find a time when I can use it. So camp has been going great so far. From the first day of camp it was easy to see that this was going to be a good year. The team took a different approach this year than the years past. In the years past, from the first night till the last, we presented the kids with the Gospel. This year we wanted to hold off on the Gospel for the first few nights and talk subjects that were more for both Christians and non Christians alike. Then we slowly began to add more and more of the Gospel in our night lessons. This method seems to have worked because in the small groups, there have been many conversation about the Christian faith. The kids are starting to open up more and more every day now. Roy, one of the kids that I have been trying to spend lots of my time with just last night started to ask questions in his small group. Roy’s mother passed away two years ago and he has been going through a tough time ever since. Pleas pray for Roy, that he would keep on asking questions and that he would hopefully give his life to the Lord.
Quinn and AJ have been doing a great job. They have been able to get to know kids in ways that amaze me for the short time that we have been here. They are two great guys who love the Lord. Pleas also pray for them as they are confronted with hard questions.
We thank you for all of your support and prayers,

We made it!!!

So we made it to Dresden at about 10 o'clock Saturday. (Wooo!!) Everyone was compleatly out of it when we arived, but we knew that we had to stay up till at least 9 in attempts to defeat, conquer, destroy, demolish, overcome and ultimately slay jet-lag. There was nothing planned for us to do today, mainly because everyone was too dead to do much of, well, anything. There are 4 new people on the American team this year (Whitney, Seth, AJ, and Quin), so today was a good time for them to get to know most of the German staff that is already here. Tomorrow morning is going to be the only time that we can sleep in and catch up on some much needed sleep. For the rest of the time here, we are going to be getting up at 7 in the morning (that's if y0u don't want a shower). That may not seem early to some, but when you are up till 1 or 2 in the morning debreafing with your team every night, 7 sounds very early.
Please pray that all of the Americans will be rested and able to get everything finnished tomorrow that needs to be completed.
We are very greatful for what all of the German staff has already done in order to get this camp moving. God has given us such a great team of both Americans and Germans to work together in unison while sharing the good news with these students that have never heared of it before.
Thank you for your support,
